18 | Duncan was born 1903, on his birth registration, it clearly states, Father, Unknown. Mother Gertrude PERKIN, when Gertrude PERKIN/s, married Charles BOXSHALL in 1905, Duncan PERKIN became known as, Duncan Perkin Boxshall, or Hugh Boxshall. His birth was re registered in 1919 as seen in the attached Victorian BDM index registration. Still no father listed. There is NO PROOF that Charles BOXSHALL was the biological father and as such I cannot add him as the father of Duncan "just because others say he is". Note the birth registration of Duncan PERKIN has only one birth name. There is no HUGH listed as a birth name.Have no idea why this comes up often? Maybe he did change his name legally and added this then? | Boxshall, Duncan Hugh Perkin (P4689)
